With Top Gun back on 300 screens this weekend - in 3D no less - this seems like as good a time as any to repost the link to my 2011 post where I watched it for the first time to see how this quintessential piece of 80's cheese holds up.
Short answer: It was really hard to watch Cruise as Maverick without thinking of Cruise as this guy:
LOL, yeah, I watched this a few months back and noted on my blog that it really doesn't hold up over time. It's kind of...bad.
